About Ray Bruce Counselling
Hello and welcome.I am Ray Bruce and I offer Psychotherapy and Counselling to clients in Kensal Green, NW10, London, close to Hampstead, Notting Hill and Queens Park..
I work from an integrative perspective which allows me to be responsive and flexible to your specific needs. I appreciate that each of my clients will have their own unique issues and we can tailor our sessions to focus on your particular needs.
When we meet for the first time we will discuss what has brought you to seek counselling and for you to decide if I am the right person with whom to explore you problems.
Whatever problem you have in your life at any given moment, be it, Bereavement, Anger Issues, Anxiety, Depression, Low Self Esteem, Relationship Issues, Stress, any of these can have an impact on you and how you relate to the world and those around you. Counselling can help to unravel the uncertainties and bring some clarity and calm into your life.

My training, work experience and any achievement
I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling in June 2008 and was awarded the diploma in August 2009.I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapy from The University of East Anglia.
My counselling experience includes work for The Terence Higgins Trust,
Cruse Bereavement Care and Brent Bereavement Services.
My most recent work involved being part the Counselling and Emotional Support Team for the Coroners Inquests into the 7/7 London Bombings.

I can also offer Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapy.Focusing is a mode of inward bodily attention and is more than being in touch with your feelings. Focusing occurs exactly at the interface of body-mind. It consists of specific steps for getting a body sense of how you are in a particular life situation. The body sense is unclear and vague at first, but if you pay attention it will open up into words or images and you experience a felt shift in your body.
